Here at Ashdown Forest Riding Centre we take pride in the fact we are located within a 6500 acre area of conservation deep within the depths of Ashdown Forest.

Lined with crops, trees and lots of grass, our horses can thrive on hours worth of completely untouched fields where you can be taken on an uninterrupted adventure.

We as a company have been operating since 1995 so you can count on our certified trainers to tailor each class to match your abilities! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, we have a horse suitable for you!

Here our horses are part of our family and we ensure they are well groomed, well respected, given plenty of breaks and time to enjoy the sun and are in perfect health.

However, we also offer an array of many more exciting activities:

If you're looking for a romantic forest break or a weekend get away we even have log cabins where you can spend the night. They come equipped with balconies where you can admire the breathtaking sunsets while toasting some marshmallows next to a cozy fire after spending the day with the horses.

If you become fond of one horse in particular you can pay to own it for a week as long as you take it out on a minimum of two rides per week, so this option is a great opportunity for established riders!
