Peterborough and Spalding Gliding Club

Welcome to Peterborough and Spalding Gliding Club!

We are located just north of Crowland in Lincolnshire, giving you fantastic views over the countryside between Peterborough and Spalding. If you have never glided before, join us for one of our Trial Flights, where you will be taken up by one of our experienced and BGA-qualified instructors to experience the exhilarating feeling of gliding in a safe learning environment. We also welcome more experienced gliders.

• Clubhouse with a kitchen
• Bar
• Two club hangars
• Children's play area. We also have space to accommodate visitors in touring caravans.

Our Fleet:

We have three modern two-seater gliders, which are mainly used for training, two single-seater gliders for solo flights as well as two tugs to aerotow the gliders and launch them. There are also about 14 syndicate or privately owned gliders within our club, which has grown immensely over the years and is composed of about 50 active flying members.

Come to Crowland Airfield for a thrilling experience soaring above the Lincolnshire countryside. Surrounded by huge windows and openness, you can take in stunning sights from a unique new perspective.
