For this introduction to multi-axis ULM piloting you will not be a passenger: you will take a seat in the pilot's seat and your instructor, Frédéric Lallement, will be seated next to you. The session lasts one hour in total and departs from the Cahors-Lalbenque aerodrome in Cieurac, the only one of our two fields where it is offered.
Course of the activity: the 15-minute briefing will introduce you to the device, a Flight Design CTLS, as well as the instruments of its Glass Cockpit and the fundamental principles of piloting. There will then be 45 minutes of flight instruction during which you will take the controls to perform your first maneuvers in the air, accompanied by your instructor.
During a baptism, the passenger looks at the landscape while the pilot flies. Here it's the opposite. Most of the hour is devoted to your actions at the controls and the explanations that accompany them.
If the desire to continue is confirmed after this session, Teddysky 46 supports his students up to the ULM pilot's license with radio qualification and passenger carriage.
