The cradle of surfing in Spain is, without a doubt, the Cantabrian coast. We want you to come see for yourself why it is an ideal place to surf, visiting San Andrés, Etxebarria and taking your first steps on the board.
You will participate in a surf initiation session starting from scratch so that you have not missed anything if you have not had any type of physical contact with this sport. First we will take the school material to the sand to tell you about its characteristics and the theoretical bases of surfing. From there we will practice some postures without leaving the beach.
Having learned the basic concepts we will go to the water. The instructor will also go into the sea with us to closely monitor how we position ourselves and advise us on what to do to master the waves in a personalized way. It is common that at first you spend more time lying down than standing on the board, but don't worry because it is the normal evolution of any student.
The instructor grades the session to the level you initially have, and your ease of learning. No one will be frustrated, but no one will be bored either!
