1 Surf lesson 7-14 years old on the Angloy Coast 1 hour

Anyone living in the Basque Country will one day want to relax on the beach and admire the movement of the waves. We then easily let ourselves drift into daydreaming and imagining ourselves catching a wave, sliding with it to the water's edge... What an exciting discipline indeed is Surfing strong> to discover the sensations of freedom of board sports!

For this reason, the instructors of the Anglet Surf Club offer children aged seven to fourteen an introductory surfing course, where they will learn the theoretical bases and surfing practices.

As it will be a course dedicated to beginners, the session will be as educational as fun in order to give a good first impression of the surf for children, and allow them to have a good time and have fun!

The instructors will share valuable advice with children to help them quickly assimilate and master the basics of surfing. Furthermore, the Madrague Beach is a surfing spot which has a wide variety of peaks, which makes it an ideal place where learn to surf on the Atlantic coastline...

Good to know :

Remember to bring a bath towel and give your children sunscreen before the session begins.

Between April and November on the Atlantic coastline, the essential activity for everyone is undeniably Surfing!

Launch out onto the waves of the Atlantic Ocean from Madrague Beach in Anglet! This seaside town, also known as "Little California," has around ten iconic surf spots in the world of water sports. Among them, Madrague beach will be perfect for little adventurers who want to confront the waves for the first time...

So take your children to Anglet so that they can meet the state-certified instructor who will supervise their surfing course. It will also help them find a board and a surf suit adapted to their size.

The course will be organized in two sessions of approximately one and a half hours, and each will begin with a theoretical part on the sand. Children will learn the essential notions of Surfing and safety instructions. After learning to row and get up quickly on their boards, the apprentice surfers will then try to get through their first waves under the encouragement and advice of the instructor.

With more than four kilometers of fine sand and peaks for all levels, Madrague Beach is the dream spot for budding surfers .

Pack sunscreen as well as a swimsuit and a towel and join us in Anglet a quarter of an hour by car from Bayonne or an hour by Dax.

With this course of three one-and-a-half hour sessions, your children will discover Surfing and will be introduced to the sensations of sliding and freedom on water!

It will also be an opportunity for them to socialize with other children of their age and to become familiar with the ocean, but also to become aware of topics such as water pollution and the protection of underwater species.

The sessions will begin on the sand with a briefing on the precautions to take when surfing and the essential notions: they will observe the movement of the waves and learn to anticipate their evolution to adopt the best surfing techniques or will work their sheathing by quickly getting up on the board.

It is necessary that children know how to swim to participate in the course.
