Indoor surfing for children near Marseille 15 minutes

Your children love Surfing and you are looking for a sporty and fun activity to offer them near Marseille? How about surprising them with a surfing session on anartificial wave?

This is now possible in Bouches-du-Rhône thanks to the 150 m² room set up by the Bouc-Bel-Air center. A wave is fed by a pool and propeller pumps, don’t miss out on coming and discovering it...

Every Sunday, state-certified instructors welcome children to introduce them to Flowboard. On arrival at the center, the children put on a neoprene suit and join their instructor in order to assimilate the safety rules of the session and follow theoretical training from this curious person derived from Surfing.

The children then have a quarter of an hour on the wave to try BodyBoard then Flowboard under the supervision of the instructor. They will start by sitting on the board or lying down on it before attempting to slide on the wave in a standing position!

The session will have the advantage of being as fun as it is sporty, because beyond working on the children's core and balance, they will also learn about their ability to have self-confidenceand to surpass oneself.

Good to know: The age required to do this activity is 5 to 9 years old.

As sporty as it is fun, it combines the sliding sensations of Skateboarding, Snowboarding and Surfing by putting your balance to the test on a small board. As for your playground, it's not about hurtling down snowy slopes, skate parks or even the tumultuous waters of the Mediterranean Sea, but about confronting yourself with a artificial wave.

As surprising as it may seem, our school inBouc-Bel-Airin fact offers you the opportunity to discover its sliding terrain in an indoor room of almost 150 m²! In this large space the temperatures are maintained at around 28 degrees, you will enjoy a friendly atmosphere to the sound of the water and among the surfers' boards.

Why not be the next one to come and try this curious sport? We dedicate Sunday sessions to children under nine years old to offer them a more personalized moment with our state-certified instructors and learn the basics of Flowboard in a safe manner.

The thirty-minute session will be divided so that the children first assimilate the safety instructions and that they collect the Flowboard equipment including the board and a wetsuit neoprene. They will then be able to put into practice the techniques given by their instructor to surf on the wave, first lying down or on their knees using the techniques of BodyBoarding, and follow with those of Flowboardby positioning yourself upright on the board!
