Night ice diving to Mont Cenis - 1h30

In the heart of the Savoie department, under the shining stars and moon, you will discover a new universe that will fill you with joy and emotion. A first try ice diving that you can do at night, for even more adrenaline rushes and sensations strong. The calm of the night, combined with the discovery of an aquatic environment and the excitement of being under an ice ceiling, are all factors that will enhance this strong>exceptional experience. Furthermore, the latter takes place in a frozen lake in Haute Maurienne, a stone's throw from Mont Cenis, in the commune of Val-Cenis.

An instructor will be waiting for you at the Val-Cenis aquatic base, to take you to the frozen lake and start cutting holes on the ice, so you can go in the water. Once these holes are ready, he will give you a briefing. The goal will be to give you a briefing to comment on everything concerning the use of safety measures, but also the progress of the dive and the features of the equipment it will give you.

Then, it's time to get into the water and dive under the icy ceiling of the lake. You will admire the fauna of the latter and explore its species. In addition, you will see all the air bubbles and particles trapped under this ceiling, which will make the experience even more fun. The instructor will be in the water with you and will do some fun acrobatics, showing you all the possiblediving techniques, including flipping and ice walking. You will spend approximately two hours navigating these icy waters, before finishing this activity by going to change in the center's changing rooms, then joining the instructor for a hot drink and adebriefing /strong> of this significant activity.
