In a breathtaking, purely Savoyard setting, you will enjoy the fauna and flora of this unmissable area, which is full of an exceptional diversity of landscapes and settings. You will in fact be in Val-Cenis, in Haute-Maurienne and will enjoy the Arc valley lake, a stone's throw from the Mont Cenis. Beneath its icy waters, you will discover trout, minnows and many more species that live in fresh waters. In addition, you will enjoy a surprising aquatic environment, with its icy ceiling and the small air bubbles and particles stuck under the ice.
On your arrival at theVal-Cenis aquaplay base, you will be welcomed by the team of professionals who will assist you. These will take you to frozen lake, in order to create holes on the ice, using a saw. After cutting these security holes, you will have a complete briefing, explaining the basic notions, as well as all the safety instructions to accept. This briefing is designed so that even beginners can understand everything important about diving.
You will then put on your dry suit, with the help of the instructor, who will give you a hand with all the equipment, but also with getting into the water. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced diver, you will be accompanied under the ice by an instructor who is used to this activity.
Afterwards, you will enjoy your activity and all the discoveries you will make under an ice ceiling. At the end of the activity you will be helped to unequip yourself, then you will head to the premises to do a debriefing over a hot drink.

Then, a briefing will be given to you to clarify all the safety measures, as well as the usefulness of all the diving equipment that you will be entrusted. Once you are equipped, you can, with the help and support of the instructor, put yourself in the water and begin your adventure under a frozen ceiling >.
During your dive, you will discover the fauna of this frozen lake. You will be able to spot trout and chub, as well as other creatures of this environment.
