Group Snorkeling lesson in the Basque Country - 1h30

Come and immerse yourself in the marine world thanks to this water hike in the Basque Country!

Located near Bidart, we are happy to introduce you to the practice of snorkeling: an exploration dive of the coasts with only a mask, a snorkel and fins!
This gives you the opportunity to observe nature in complete simplicity, without rushing it and in a relaxing and magical atmosphere. This practice allows you to train your skills in freediving and swimming while paying attention to what is around you.

Throughout your activity, you will be supervised by a professional and passionate instructor, holder of the State diving certificate. His extensive experience offers you fun learning that will enrich your knowledge!
He knows these coasts like the back of his hand, he will teach you everything he knows about the biodiversity of the seabed of the Basque Country.

Stage of your activity:

• You will be warmly welcomed at the meeting point* by your instructor. You will leave with your group to the planned dive site, we will provide your transport.
• Afterwards, your instructor will provide you with the equipment: fins, mask, snorkel and diving suit. He will give you a briefing on the practice of snorkeling and on the specificities of the site: biodiversity, marine species, etc.
• We also provide you with civil liability insurance to ensure your safety.
• You will explore the seabed of the Basque coast with your equipment, you will be able to feel a real connection with nature. The fauna and flora of theBasque seabedare very developed, your instructor will teach you about this subject and introduce you to new species.
• Once your activity is finished, you will return to the meeting point with your whole group, then you will debrief to share your experience and your feelings.

Good to know:

• The meeting point is fixed with your instructor after you have made the reservation.
• Remember to bring your swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen and a hat/cap.
• We advise you to bring a bottle of water and a small snack to eat after the activity.

We are in Bidartand weoffer you three group snorkeling sessions where you can observe marine life at very shallow depths!

You will learn about underwater life at shallow depths, rich in fauna and vegetation, as well as the actions to take to better appreciate and respect underwater ecosystems. You will sharpen your sense of observation by learning to identify the different types of life in this diverse ecosystem, while wearing equipment specifically adapted to this type of activity.

Our instructors will be happy to welcome you for a memorable activity at our leisure base in Bidart, a town near Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

Program of the activity:

• The activity will begin with a warm welcome at our leisure center, where one of our instructors will take responsibility and encourage you to leave your personal belongings.
• They will provide you with all the essential gear and equipment, including a wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel.
• You will then go snorkeling three times to explore the seabed!

• a snack for you or your children
