SSI Open Water Diving Course Madeira Coast 4-5h

Do you want to take your passion for diving one step further? We offer you the possibility of taking the Open Water Diver SSI diving course with us on the east coast of Madeira. This course will grant you the SSI certificate, recognized internationally, and will make you part of a select group of underwater adventurers. Anyone over 14 years old can take the course, since the only requirement is that you know how to swim.

We are in Caniçal, a tourist coastal town located in the municipality of Machico, just ten minutes from the Madeira Airport. The program consists of a theoretical training part to prepare for the exam and also a total of 10 dives, of which six will be in confined waters and four in the open sea up to a maximum of 18 meters deep.

Throughout your stay in Madeira, you cannot miss Funchal, its capital. A picturesque city full of history and monuments. You should visit its zona velha (old town), where the streets become a museum of history and urban art and where you can also find the Fort of Santiago, built in the 17th century to protect the city's port against invasions.
