Horseback Riding to the Madeira Dunes Adult

There is nothing better than discovering the attractions that a certain place offers than through a horseback excursion. Imagine, also, that it is the first time that you visit a somewhat unknown place, surrounded by ecstatic vegetation, the sensation must be analogous to that which Christopher Columbus experienced when discovering the New World.

And, speaking of Christopher Columbus, what we are going to tell you next has a lot to do with him because it is proven that here, in that yet undisclosed place, he took up residence for a few years. We refer to the Porto Santo island, belonging to the Madeira region, an immeasurable paradise.

Now have we convinced you? Well, keep reading because there are all the advantages. We have planned a one and a half hour tour in which we will be on horseback visiting some of the points of interest in the Vila Baleira fort> area, close to where our equestrian center is located.

Precisely, the excursion starts at our school, reaches the dune landscape and returns to the beginning. A circular route that has a special focus on stopping in the desert to observe first-hand that environment that unmistakably reminds us of images of the moon at times. You will believe you are in outer space.

Likewise, you will not go alone, as all of our excursions are led by one of our specialized tour guides, who direct the group with the intention of showing you the greatest attractions of the island. as well as explain part of its history.

For the day of the event, you should come with comfortable clothes, depending on the season, and, always, resistant sneakers or boots and some jeans or tights that are not completely rigid. The equipment you will need to get on the horse, such as the helmet for your head or the saddle, is on us.
