There’s nothing better than a Discover Scuba Diving experience (from PADI) which includes a dive in the pool and the sea. You don’t find these combined tasters in many UK locations, so take advantage of what we offer!
Speaking of locations, we are blessed to work on the coast of Cornwall, in the pretty seaside village of Pentewan. We use a nearby swimming pool for the first part of the experience and then complete a shore dive on a local beach.
You’ll be in the safe hands of an experienced dive instructor. In the pool, they'll show you how to use the equipment and get you completing your first underwater movements. This part will last around half an hour, until the instructor sees that you’re happy with the basics.
After that, the session moves to the beach, where the rest of the time is spent in open water. You’ll get used to moving around and might be lucky enough to spot some wildlife, including fish, crustaceans and seals!
Equipment hire is included in the price and we only ask you to bring your ordinary swimming gear, plus a t-shirt to wear in the water. The session is suitable for first-time divers who are at least 10 years old.
