This is a 1 week long theoretical and practical diving course. Throughout the diving course you will be provided with all the necessary materials and you will be in the hands of the best qualified diving instructors. These will teach the following topics:
- Teaching guidelines.
- Group theory, where you will learn the laws of diving, decompression tables, first aid and diving signs, among other topics.
- Assistance to other instructors.
- Confined water baptism practices and open water skills.
Once you finish the course, the certificate will qualify you to:
- Act as Dive Controller.
- Being able to direct divers who are already qualified on their dives.
- Watch how new divers are trained.
- Teach diving courses that do not grant certification.
- Teach and evaluate in "dry" modalities, that is, those where training in the water is not needed.
The minimum age to take the course is 18 years.
