Barracuda is a diving center on the Castellon coast, located in the Puerto Deportivo Las Fuentes de Alcoceber (Castellón). With us you can immerse yourself in the waters of the Mediterranean, being captivated by the beauty of the underwater bottom. Courses and dives to enjoy the best diving.
Haven't you dived in the sea yet? Don't worry, because we offer you an baptism of diving ideal to get started in this exciting hobby. First in confined waters and then moving to the natural environment of the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, we have 3 boats of different capacities, 14, 12 and 10 meters in length.
From there you can continue your training as a diver with the successive learning courses designed by the prestigious ACUC. You can reach the highest level by becoming an instructor.
To simply visit the most spectacular diving areas in the Mediterranean we have organized these getaways to sail or dive:
- Columbretes Islands: are made up of an archipelago of small volcanic islands that we reach in 1 hour and a half. We visited the interior of the main island, subsequently diving in its waters. We will take a day trip to the Natural Reserve, where we can enjoy good visibility.
- Barra Alta: location located 6 nautical miles from Columbretes. Impressive underwater volcanic formation preserved from external erosion.
- Local diving: near our facilities. They will be simple and pretty.
- Snorkeling off the coast: it's perfect for the whole family.
- Boat trip through the Maria de Irta Reserve: would you like to take a swim?
Furthermore, if you are thinking about starting out in diving, you can enjoy baptisms or, if you want to get a qualification, we have the necessary courses so that you can function in the water like a fish.
The material is delivered by the school team that will give you the best service and will allow you to know everything that surrounds diving and the enclaves of the Costa del Azahar.
Summary Boat Trips
Barracuda is a company with experience since 1997 in providing you with navigation services from our location in the Las Fuentes Marina in Alcossebre.
We have a fleet made up of 3 boats. The Barracuda Cat has a length of 14 meters, the Barracuda Cuatro has a length of 12 meters and the Torrebadum reaches 10. In them we offer you a maximum of 12 seats for each one.
We take boat trips with a skipper through the Irta Reserve from the Marina. The Natural Park is the largest extension of undeveloped coastline in the Mediterranean. It is made up of 15 kilometers that remain unchanged with cliffs and coves of beaches in a natural state.
We rent the boats for a minimum of 1 hour, for 2 hours with a half-hour swim, or to enjoy them for 2 and a half hours arriving to Peñíscola.
It is an ideal proposal for families, any type of group or event since it can be reserved for single places or the entire boat. Suggested times can be extended upon request as we are completely flexible.

Barracuda is the diving center from which you can take advantage of all the opportunities that diving on the Costa de Azahar offers you. We have our own facilities and boats to assist you in services like these:
-Your baptism of diving from the Port of Alcosseber: your first underwater experience over 3 hours with all the equipment, practices in the pool and a second block in the Mediterranean at a depth of 5 meters . It is possible to participate in the entire program from the age of 10 and from the age of 8 if we stick to the part in the pool.
- ACUC courses of all levels: from the Open Water Diver for which we prepare a complete kit with which you will be ready for the theory classes and the practices that we will do at sea. With a minimum of 16 years old and knowing how to swim, you can start and obtain this basic qualification that opens the doors to the following programs to immerse yourself in greater depth and under special circumstances.
- Diving in Columbretes: one of our underwater guides will accompany you to discover this group of islands in an activity for certified divers from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There we will discover the 3 varieties of habitats that are hidden beneath the surface, attending the natural spectacle offered by species such as sea bream or red lobster.
