If you’ve always liked the idea of sailing but never had the chance to have a go, we’ve got good news for you. We offer one-hour taster sessions that will introduce you to this immensely rewarding hobby.
And you couldn’t have your first experience in a better place. Christchurch harbour is a beautiful part of the world, where sheltered water combines with good winds to produce the perfect conditions for sailing. It’s a popular place for recreational sailing but it’s big enough to not get crowded.
We’ll send you out onto the water in a small sailing dinghy. These craft are simple and safe, and you’ll be catching the wind in your sail in no time with the help of one of our expert, RYA -qualified instructors.
This is a no-commitment taster session, so we supply all the equipment. We can take anyone over the age of eight around the harbour and show them what sailing is all about.
