Welcome to Junior Sailing Level 4! The last stage for your children to finally declare that they are great sailors!
They will sail a double-handed boat as a crew or helmsman while addressing challenges on the water in Teignmouth, Devon. They'll be capable of navigating vessels and getting them directly where they want them to go, as well as lifesaving others.
They will learn improved techniques for jetty, or mooring, launching and returning to a shore, and sailing a dinghy around a triangle in modest winds in a double hander. These are just a few examples of how they can improve your skills throughout the sport.
The maximum number of participants for this 2-day session is 6, and they must be between the ages of 8 and 16. Before participating in the activity, they must also have the Youth Sailing Level 3 Certificate.
We have professional instructors who will assist and lead your youngsters as they develop their sailing skills and independence. Apart from a briefing, equipment such as buoyancy aids, spray jackets, and wetsuits are also included in this package, ensuring safety.
Moreover, the participants will also receive a certificate and a handbook following the program.
