We will begin the course with a theoretical class on sailing, where we will explain the basics of fluid mechanics and how sailing boats and the elements that make them up work. We will also explain how to follow the courses according to the wind and predict the weather, in addition to the basic maneuvers.

The following topics will be about the maneuvers that you will have to do with the boat, such as rigged and unrigged, practicing knots and taking care of sails, how to catch the waves according to the course or tacking and jibing maneuvers. Once you know this, you will also have the opportunity to see more advanced maneuvers, such as facing and stopping, anchoring and leaving anchor.

We cannot forget the safety maneuvers as well as explaining the most common risks of this type of navigation.

Once you finish the course, as a gift, you will be able to participate in a regatta where you can put what you have learned into practice.
