Deal overview
At Allangibbon Bridge (St John of Dalry) we will enter the River Ken a quiet and peaceful grade 2 river. From the River Ken, we drop into Loch Ken an Idyllic location and haven for wildlife. Here we will spend 2 nights wild camping, an experience you can mould to your own requirements and building your own experience. You can camp in a Tent or under a Tarp or if you wish to be extreme a Bivi Bag.
As a group, we will cook traditional camp food over a campfire and savour some local whiskey with Bannock Bread. Leaving Lock Ken we will enter the River Dee again a lovely steady river with some small rapids. The River Dee passes through an Osprey conservation area plus we can have a look at Threave Castle, a traditional Scottish tower.
