This session combines theory and practice. You will learn how to find the equipment, how to handle your kite, familiarize yourself with kitesurfing and know the safety instructions. You can participate later if you wish, in a second lesson where you will be in the water and learn more about this sport.

We are located in Barcarès, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, just 25 minutes from Perpignan and 40 minutes from Narbonne >.
We offer you the opportunity to introduce yourself to Kitesurfing in complete safety. You will be welcomed by our state qualified instructors and approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, who will equip you with quality equipment >, renewed every year.
During your first session, you will learn how to install the equipment, how to pilot the kite in the water and how to swim towed. But also to read the weather and the winds, a basic skill for kitesurfing. You will also have a briefing on safety rules.
In your second session, you will learn how to perform a Waterstart, you will have to learn how to manage your kite with one hand, but also how to manage your Kite board.
You will then catch your first waves and your first breezes of wind, thus discovering this sensation of gliding on the open sea. There will be a maximum of 4 of you per group for one instructor, so this is the time to take advantage of it and ask them for advice.
