Surf and Kite welcomes you to the sublime Barcarès beach to offer you various board sports to spice up your holidays !
The school is located nearLa Palme,LeucateandPerpignan, inLanguedoc-Roussillon. These coastal towns in the south of France are renowned for the practice of board sports, particularly kitesurfing, thanks to the superb weather conditions.
Our school is affiliated with the French Kitesurfing Association which allows us to issue you with a KitePass to ensure better follow-up. We also have the honor of being approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
Surf and Kite provides you with quality equipment to guarantee your safety and offer you additional comfort. We can humbly define our teaching as fun, pedagogical, effective and listening.
Our courses will allow you to discover or to perfect your skills in a sport, in a good mood and in complete safety.
Indeed, we mainly practice on the La Palme beach which is the ideal spot. This sublime beach has a shallow body of water which allows an initiation in a gentle and safe manner.
The offers we offer you:
- Kitesurf: latest board sport, towed by a large kite which will make you slide on the waves by the force of the wind. Sensations guaranteed!
- Foil: impressive and sensational, this board that flies above the water thanks to its motor will have an effect on you!
- Wing: a mix of Windsurf and Kitesurf, this latest board sport combines a hand-held inflatable sail and a Foil board ( accompanied by a motor). Speed and adrenaline waiting for you!
- Wakeboard: boat-towed ride with a choice of 3 boards. The sensations provided will be unforgettable

We do everything to adapt the level and the physical condition of our students with the planned program and the chosen spot. Our spots canvary, because we are obviously subject to weather conditions.

We do our best to offer you courses adapted to your physical condition and your level. If you are between 10 and 70 years old (and over) you can come and discover Kitesurfing. This sport is much more accessible than you think!
Our instructors are pedagogical and attentive to all your needs, the lessons are carried out in a good mood > and security in order to enable rapid progress.
Contrary to popular belief, Kitesurfing is a fairly simple sport once we understand how it works and the different techniques.
Accessible to a wide audience, in just a few lessons, you will have mastered Kitesurfing and the sensations will be there.
You will come back from your vacation as a kitesurfing pro!
We are obviously subject to weather conditions, which is why the spots are defined the day before in order to adapt the course program to your level and the weather. We also adapt our programs, to your availability and your desires.
We offer different course options:
- Private lesson of one hour
- Group lessons of 4 students maximum per instructor and lasting 4 hours (assembly and dismantling of equipment included) (possibility of booking 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 lessons of 4 hours)
For each course, we provide you with all the necessary material such as thehelmet, the neoprene suit, the harness, the wings, the board and the radio.
Remember to bring sunglasses, water, a hat or cap and sunscreen depending on the weather.

Surf and Kite invites you to try this unforgettable experience that is Wing Foil on its different spots in Barcarès, Leucate, Toreille and La Palme, renowned as ideal for board sports.
Surf and Kite has been aboarding schoolsince 2014, which operates with teaching and a good atmosphere. This school, approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as the French Kitesurfing Association, wishes to transmit its passion for water sports while retaining its three values which are essential to it: pleasure, safety and progress.
What is Wing Foil?
This new sport is the result of a mix between Kitesurf and Windsurf to which we added a Foil board. The Foil board is like a Kitesurf board, but with a motor that makes you glide over the water. br />
You have an inflatable sail in your hands that you steer according to the wind. Speed and sensations guaranteed!
We understand how to handle the sail on a paddle board or on the beach so that you are more comfortable. Thanks to our attentive and teaching instructors, this handling will be done simply and quickly. As for the adaptation of the Foil board, it is done in a boat for faster progression.
Our courses:
The Wing Foil lessons start on the beach or by boat and last 2 hours. The spot is agreed at the last moment by your instructor, because we make a point of adapting to your level, your desires and the weather conditions to which we are subject .
You will be in a group of 3 students per instructor to give personalized advice and optimal safety. We do everything for your comfort, which is why all the necessary equipment will be made available to you, however, remember to bring water as well as sunscreen and sunglasses.
The good atmosphere of these classes allows you to progress more quickly while having fun, come and share your good mood with us!
You have the possibility to take 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 lessons of 2 hours of Wing Foil according to yourdesires.
