The coast of Almería, to the southeast of the peninsula, is one of the most appreciated natural refuges in the summer. That's why we invite you to discover some of its beaches with this kayak route to Cala Higuera. It is the ideal plan to do in the morning or afternoon with family or friends. Sport, landscape and fun will come together throughout 2 and a half hours.
Have you never paddled a kayak before? Well don't worry, this is the time! As it is a simple sport, you will quickly get the hang of it. In addition, before starting the adventure, the monitor-guide will explain how to handle the boat and some tricks to row easily.
The meeting point will be San José beach (at 10 a.m. or 4 p.m., depending on your availability). There we will give you all the material and we will leave for the cove, leaving the town behind and passing by the port.
On our tour we will see theTobacco Cave, a cavity sculpted in a white rock, where tobacco smugglers once hid and which, without a doubt, will catch your attention.
When we reach our objective, apart from being dazzled by the color of the waters and the uniqueness of the relief, we will park our rafts and take a well-deserved dip. It's time to grab your goggles and snorkel and observe the life hidden beneath the waters!
Also, as a souvenir we will take photos of the trip so that you can always return to this moment.
