We offer to accompany you for a horseback riding weekend in the Pyrenees. You will cross the Benou plateauon horseback. Located in the Ossau valley at an altitude of 900 meters, it has many surprises in store for you, you will not be disappointed. You will take the Col de Marie-Blanque road, a key stage in the seasonal movement of herds. This incredible route halfway between the rock of Aranand the crests of Lazerque will offer you magnificent panoramas. You can also have prehistoric encounters with cromlechs dating from the Stone Age. We guarantee you will have 2 magical days.
Departure will be from our stables in the town of Bilhères, 40 minutes from Pau. You will meet our team upon your arrival and you will get to know the horses who will share your weekend. They are very sociable, you will see, you will quickly feel at ease with them. Our guide will show you how to take care of your horse. You will learn how to brush and saddle him. In other words, this weekend is aimed both at experienced riders and at those wishing to have a first experience on horseback. You will be supported and you will be able to quickly assimilate the basic techniques of the equation.
Horse equipment will be loaned to you and accommodation for the two nights as well as food are provided by us. Your breakfast and evening meal will be cooked on a gas camper or over a wood fire depending on the possibilities. For lunch, we will take picnic breaks in the middle of the mountains.
We advise you to take with you a warm sleeping bag, clothes suitable forriding a horseand adapted to the weather (to deal with the rain on cool nights or to protect yourself from the sun on cold days). sunny).
