Chevauchée Pyrénéenne has been helping you discover the Bénou plateau on horseback in the summer since 1981.

Chevauchée Pyrénéenne is above all a team of enthusiasts made up of Frédéric a guide and Carine an equestrian tourism guide. They like to share their enthusiasm for horses and nature by offering everyone the opportunity to go on a horseback ride in the Pyrenees -Atlantics or to carry out equestrian stays of several days in France and Spain. You will be able to discover wonderful mountainous landscapes under both slopes of the mountain range.

Around thirty destinations are available to you. We'll tell you a little more about our favorites:

• Plateau du Bénou: located in the Ossau valley at 900 meters above sea level, it allows you to experience a unique mountain adventure. It's the perfect blend of stunning panoramas and history. Indeed, you can admire cromlechs dating from the Stone Age built by prehistoric men.
• Western Pyrenees National Park: between Haut Bérnand Haut Aragon, you will encounter lakes and strong>glaciers in one of the most remarkablemountain massifs as well as megalithic remains and ancient Roman roads.
• Bardenas Desert: Travel to the Spanish semi-desert area "Bardenas Reales". The stunning colors and magnificent reliefs will not leave you indifferent. This is a very special, unique place.

You can discover these destinations and many more on the horses of the Chevauchée Pyrénéenne breeding farm. They are sublime Hispanic-Arabs. Beginner hiker or experienced rider, Chevauchée Pyrénéenne adapts to everyone and the guides will always be there to accompany you.
