The excursion will start at 8.30 in the morning. You will reach an altitude of 1900 meters on board one of our vehicles and you will begin the trekking on foot heading towards the now extinct craters of the volcano and the strong>lava deserts that formed on the slopes of Etna. During the journey, the naturalistic guide will explain all the volcanic phenomena in detail.
You will then visit a lava flow cave before continuing towards the restaurant where you will regain your strength by enjoying a lunch based on appetizer, first course and dessert. You will also be able to taste 3 Etna DOC wines, having the opportunity to visit the cellar and the vineyard where they are produced.
After resting, the trekking will resume, and you will finally reach the Alcantara Gorges, with their high basalt walls.
Around 6.30 pm we will return to base, concluding the experience on Etna in the best possible way.
