Weekend in the woods, Agropoli

With our super offer you will be able to take part in a trekking that will start from the town of Agropoli and cross characteristic Cilentan villages until we arrive in Prignano Cilento, where we will stay overnight in a characteristic house in the woods in an experience that combines hiking activities withlocal gastronomy.

We start from Agropoli, a pleasant historic and tourist town in Cilento, to immediately immerse ourselves in the Cilento hinterland. We will go in the direction of the town of Ogliastro Cilento, crossing unique panoramas and we will learn about the flora and fauna of the Mediterranean environment.

After crossing the ancient village of Ogliastro Cilento we will turn towards Prignano where we will walk through a maze of characteristic alleys and stone houses with small doors close to the road strong>, on the steps of which the local old ladies spend time talking, engaging in craft activities such as bobbin embroidery or weaving wicker baskets.

Continuing on our journey we will reach the house in the woods where we will prepare for the night while waiting to enjoy dinner. You will have the opportunity to taste baked loaves and taste typical cheeses, learning to prepare oleolithic infusions with local herbs.

The next day, before returning to the village and doing the reverse route, we will walk in the woods guided by an expert connoisseur of the place who will show us the local wild herbs and their use in both the therapeutic and gastronomic fields.

The route we will undertake will be easy but challenging (the walk will last around 4 hours) so we recommend dressing in materials that facilitate movement.
