Full Day Guided Hike(18yrs+) at the Glyderau Range

If you want to challenge and push yourself, the glorious Glyderau mountain range in Snowdonia makes a full day of hiking an exciting one you won't forget!

If you usually enjoy a lowland hike but don't have the confidence to tackle more vast mountains and harsher terrain, don't worry. Our fully qualified mountain leaders have all the experience and expertise to guide you past some of the UK's most challenging rocky terrain, which will test your self-belief and endurance, but the sweet reward of picturesque views from the breathtaking summits makes it worth it.

This is an all-year-round hike, so we must adapt the session to the conditions which our mountain leaders will happily take care of. So they will do all the planning to find the ideal route, navigate the terrain and weather ultimately guide the group to safety using their unique local expertise through around 7.5 hours of hiking.

Located in the North West of Snowdonia, this vast mountain range boasts some of the best hiking routes in Wales' largest national park and most stunning views. For example, you should look forward to experiencing the Devil's Kitchen, the Castle of the Winds and the Cantilever.

No experience is required, but you will need a good fitness level to tackle this full-day hike across the Glyderau range, and you must be at least 18 years old. We will make exceptions for those 14 and older if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

We have some kit advice that varies depending on the season, so you must adjust if you join us in Winter compared to Summer. We suggest wearing some sturdy mountain boots, weather-based clothing including standard hiking trousers, fleece, base layer, waterproof shell layer, waterproof over trousers if necessary and boot gaiters in Winter.

Regardless of weather conditions, you should bring a small rucksack to carry food, water, a warm hat, a pair of gloves and other personal items. We can offer further advice upon making a booking.
