On the road to Val Sendero you will be able to discover enchanted forests and landscapes more beautiful than you thought possible. You will walk along an old path that borders the Caldera de Tejada. On this tour you will be left with your mouth open at the beauty of the landscapes. Delight in seeing Roque Nublo and Bentayga as well as the Riscos de Chapín. And as a horizon line, you can fall in love with the mountains of the west of the island.
You will arrive at the pine forest area and continue towards the Barranco del Andén, a route that will take you to Valsendero.
Approaching the Montañón Negro you can be a short distance from the site of the last eruption in Gran Canarias. From there, you can admire the beauty of the ravine with its unusual vegetation, its water galleries and the caves that will call your name. And while you enjoy the lichens that cover the trees, you will be entering an enchanted forest like something out of fairy tales.
During the tour, you will be able to recognize some residents of the forest, the eagles and woodpeckers will be just some of them.
