It is also a great wat to know the countryside and moorland. We run our sessions at Derbyshire, where we can explore multiple venues within the area. We consider our sessions to provide a good start to a healthy life since they will provide a deeper perspective of the importance of walking.
We will start your adventure with a quick briefing. Your instructor will teach you how to plan walks, understand navigation and get familiar with the equipment you need during your trip. Expect 5-6 hours of walking. We will go through footpaths and trails that lead you to breathtaking surroundings. Don't worry because we will also have tons of breaks!
Even though our sessions are for novices, we suggest having a moderate level of fitness to participate. We recommend bringing warm clothing, appropriate footwear and waterproofs! We have no doubt you will enjoy your hill walking experience.

2-Day Hill Walking Session at Derbyshire

We love hill walking! It's one of the best ways to explore nature while you get some exercise. It also allows you to breathe clean air and enjoy spectacular perspectives. Our hillwalking courses aim to teach you the importance of reading maps and walking. We will split your hill walking lesson into two parts.
On the first day, you will receive complete training to understand basic hiking strategies. This is an open hiking course, allowing you to meet people same-minded! You will experience a short indoor session to put your new abilities to the test. Expect 5-6 hours of walking the next day! We will take you to explore the area. We usually run our sessions at different venues in Derbyshire. You won't be disappointed!
Our team will provide all the equipment. You only need to bring warm clothing and waterproofs! We can also tailor our hillwalking sessions for birthdays, stag and hen parties, corporate or team building events!
