Send them on a boating adventure on the River Derwent in Derbyshire. We run full-day kayaking trips on this beautiful river that flows down from the Peak District National Park and on through rural England.

The trips are guided by expert outdoor instructors, who will keep the group going with the flow safely. However, it’s not suitable for beginners. We recommend that participants have completed a kayaking course and are aged over 11 years old.

We can provide all the necessary equipment for this river trip. As well as kayaks and paddles, we have buoyancy aids, splash decks and dry tops.

We meet in Matlock. From here, the Derwent becomes pretty lively and there are some rapid sections. It’s a fun place to go kayaking and the experience can also count towards a white water qualification.
