Our center organizes Trekking excursions in Abruzzo in the centers of Castel del Monte, Santo Stefano and Sessanio.
The itinerary includes:
Day 1. After meeting the guide, near L'Aquila, we will move to Castel del Monte: a center known for the ancestral legends linked to witches.
Once we have visited the castle, we will reach the Campo Imperatore plateau. Rocca Calascio, with the fortress and the church of Santa Maria della Pietà, will be the last destination of the route.
The day ends with a dinner and an overnight stay at the foot of the castle.
Day 2. Once breakfast is over, we will begin the journey towards the village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. It is a center of great charm, linked to the Florentine Medici dynasty.
We will have lunch in a local restaurant, where we will be able to try typical products. The afternoon ends with a walk to Castelvecchio Calvisio.
