Las Médulas are located in Ponferrada, 25 km from the capital of El Bierzo, which borders Galicia.

It is a place full of incredible landscapes, formed from the remains of the most important exploitations of the gold mining sector, during the Roman Empire, in the 1st and 2nd centuries. History and beauty combine perfectly in Las Médulas and, for this reason, they have been named World Heritage.

To explore this area, we advise you to come with appropriate footwear and comfortable clothing, as we will do it entirely on foot.

After lunch, which will be done freely, we will go to Ponferrada, located in the Valle del Bierzo, cradle of DO Bierzo wines.

Upon arrival in Ponferrada you will have free time until 5:30 p.m.

We recommend visiting the Templar castle that stands in this city and its famous iron bridge.
