We usually operate in Borrowdale. However, we can go to numerous locations around the National Park. You don't need any experience to be part of our introduction sessions, anyone who wants to learn, practise and gain confidence with climbing is welcome to come.
Our owner and instructor, who has 30 years of experience in this field, will ensure you build up skills, confidence and knowledge of the fundamentals of rock climbing. Our introduction to climbing lesson programme includes movement on the rock, ropework, use of equipment, seconding climbs and more.
We will open your session with a quick safety briefing. We provide all the equipment, instruction and an abseiling experience. It takes one full day to complete your session and enter the world of rock climbing.

Group Full-Day Climbing Introduction Borrowdale

We run our introduction to climbing sessions in Borrowdale, but we can explore different venues around the Lake District too. Our instructor and owner has over 30 years of experience under her belt, so you know that you'll have the best tuition and gain confidence in no time.
There is no need to have previous experience to take part in this activity. We will start your climbing session with a quick safety briefing. Our programme includes movement on rock, ropework, belaying, seconding climbs and more. We also provide all the equipment and an abseiling taster!
You will need an entire day to enjoy your climbing experience at its finest. We can tailor this session for a small group of 2-4 people, enabling you to gather your group of friends or family members. We promise a fun day!
