This rock climbing course combines indoor and outdoor rock climbing with two sessions lasting two hours each. This is the perfect blend of a fun introductory and more of a challenge all in one course.
Our team consists of qualified instructors passionate about creating the best session for you, whatever your experience level, and giving everyone as much climbing time as possible to build your skills and ensure you have the best experience with us.
Before we can get to the action, your experienced instructor will deliver an introduction to the indoor climbing wall facility, which is located at Coláiste Nano Nagle, 20 Sexton St, close to the centre of Limerick city. They will also provide an overview of the necessary equipment, safety brief, belay training, ropework and climbing techniques before guiding you through the various climbs you will get to complete.
We were hoping you could get the most out of these lessons, so you will generally get at least 5 or 6 climbs to ensure that by the end, you can confidently and independently climb, but we create a safe environment to ensure this is done correctly and efficiently. This means that you will be able to belay, tie knots and adequately use the equipment.
We also run our outdoor sessions at the stunning locations in Ballaneety & Lough Gur in County Limerick.
