We specialise in outdoor activities and provide a thrilling and unforgettable outdoor experience perfect for anyone looking for an exciting new challenge. Our Via Ferrata experience at Honister Slate Mine is a guided climb up a rock face using cables, ladders, and cargo nets bolted into the rock.

We will equip you with a helmet, harness, and Via Ferrata kit, which includes carabiners and a specialised lanyard system that ensures your safety as you climb. Our experienced and passionate guides will be with you every step of the way, providing expert instruction and encouragement as you navigate the course.

As you ascend the rock face, you will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding landscape, and you'll feel a sense of accomplishment and pride with each step you take to the summit. The Via Ferrata course is designed to challenge your physical and mental strength, and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve.

We run two session every day, except Tuesday and Thursday. These sessions run at 09:30am-12:30pm and 01:30pm - 04:30pm.
