Junior Half Day Rock Climbing in Ambleside

How high can you climb?

Rock climbing is a fun and safe experience for all ages, which is why we put on this half-day experience for kids and teens under 18 to get a taste of it. 

Our activities take place in Cumbria, close to Ambleside, a beautiful part of the Lake District National Park. The best way to enjoy the landscape of Langdale and other valleys is by climbing with the best guidance.

The duration of this session is approximately half a day, perfect for working on your abilities and pace (all levels are welcome). Guided by a professional instructor, you will get a complete session with a proper introduction, set up with the necessary equipment, a safety briefing, and a progressive advance to further challenges.

This price is for youngsters, but we have an equivalent price for adults. Included in the price is all the climbing and safety equipment. Make sure you come wearing the right clothes for the weather conditions.

Join this rock climbing session for a day where adults and kids can have a real and fun experience. We go climbing at locations in the Lake District, particularly around Ambleside. you will have an extraordinary time climbing with friends and family in iconic areas such as Langdale.

For a full day, you will work on your climbing level, improving your skills and achieving your goals. With the help and guidance of our instructors, everyone will be able to work on getting to the top.

Please note that the price here is only for kids, meaning that the maximum age for this price is 17 years old. We have a separate price for adults.

A tentative schedule for our climbing day session is to meet with the instructor and get the safety equipment and a safety briefing. After that, we will introduce the basics of climbing. We will start you out scrambling and bouldering before increasing the difficulty level.

Everyone in the group should wear appropriate clothing for a day in the wilds of the national park. We recommend well-fitting, close-toed shoes for climbing. We will supply all the climbing and safety equipment.
