The activity consists of doing abseilings in order to be able to be underground in what is called a chasm, then making sure to arrive at a nearby cave to be able to reach dry land.
The site of this activity is Saint Pé de Bigorre: the crossing Hayau - Bouhadèrefor people just starting their initiation to caving.
This cave exploration lasts 4.5 to 5 hours and can be done throughout the year, because the temperature of the cave remains constant.
Good to know:
- It is essential to have already abseiled before.
- You must be quite athletic and have no contraindications regarding physical exertion.
- The instructor can accompany a group of up to 7 people.
