Lower Estarón Ravine in Pallars Sobirá 3h

In the Leidan municipality of La Guingueta, in the Pallars Sobirá region, there are those kinds of ravines that are perfect for those who have already initiated in canyoning but who want to continue adding more adventures to their repertoire, challenging themselves by increasing the difficulty and strong sensations a little more. That's why we have to take advantage of our privileged location, and go on a canyoning route through the lower Estarón ravine of 3 hours.

This ravine in Lleida lands is divided into two: the Upper Estarón and the Lower Estarón. The first turns out to be perfect for beginners and the second, in which we will venture, is a medium level ravine, with more technical characteristics and complicated terrain. Without a doubt, it will test our skills while our body releases adrenaline.

You will only have to come with comfortable clothes, a change of clothes, and a mind prepared to rappel down large cliffs. We say this because if you have respect for heights, you will have to be prepared, because we will find many descents at a dizzying altitude.

In the Lower Estarón we will find a ravine where vegetation overflows and sprouts from the most unexpected corner. Its beginning is from the Torrent de les Aubagues, here begins the lower part of the Estarón ravine and as soon as we begin, nature will welcome us with fun, where we will slide between laughter down a natural slide until ending up in a pool, which, upon exiting it, our first rappelling descent will await us. From the beginning, we started strong.

If there is something that we must also highlight in this canyoning route, it is that the Estarón ravine is formed by slate rock, so we must be careful when stepping and moving forward , since it is a quite slippery mineral. At our own pace, we will continue advancing along these paths until we find jumps to make that will accelerate our pulse, and natural pools to swim in.

On our way, we will also find up to 5 more rappels to go down, whose height is around 15 meters, except for the final cherry, the last rappel. We will culminate our adventure by rappelling down a waterfall, with an unimaginable height of 40 meters that will exalt us with emotion.
