In the south of the Sierra de Gredos, the Gavilanes Waterfalls ravine is waiting for you so you can delve inside for about 4 hours and enjoy an aquatic adventure with all the letters. Enjoy canyoning in the Tiétar Valley area!
To enjoy this canyoning activity, you will have to travel to Gavilanes in Ávila, where the technical monitor will be waiting for you. This will be the one who will explain the itinerary, the safety measures and provide you with all the materials needed to fully explore this water canyon.
Then, after an approximation of about 30 minutes, surrounded by pines, oaks and chestnut trees, you will see how the Tiétar River makes its way, creating an environment with granite slopes with an extension of more or less 800 meters.
The Avilés river will create its own path, configuring a different scheme with various rappelling through waterfalls (hence its name), natural slides, natural pools created by the force of the waterfalls in which you can swim.
This ravine in the Sierra de Gredos is considered medium level, so a bit of physical fitness is required to be able to overcome all its surprising waterfalls and enjoy each natural obstacle.
