The Subra canyon, in the middle of the Ariege Pyrenees regional natural park, is close to the Spanish border and the Artigue waterfallsand it amazes with its spectacular beauty and its succession of waterfalls.
The Subra Canyon is both a personal and collective challenge... We are going on a journey into the woods, which will test our endurance and require special attention.
How does the activity take place?
- We will meet you in theparking lot in front of the Vicdessos town hall, where your teacher and the other participants are waiting for you. You will then receive a briefing on the day's activities as well as the precautions to take to ensure your safety during canyoning.
- We generally progress on ropes, so before starting the walk, you will be taught how to progress so that you can enjoy the descent.
- There are two memorable scenes towards the end: "The syringe" and "The cave". You will descend behind a 20 meter waterfall, which is the cradle of the legendary animals of Ariège. li>
- It will take you an hour and a half to reach the Subra canyon.

- It is useful to know that good physical condition is required.
- Bring your swimsuits and towels.
- Enough to tie your hair up.
