The Climbing Consultant

The Climbing Consultant, located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, offers a unique climbing experience. We instruct, consult, train and assess to make sure that your experience is the best possible. It does not matter if you have had past experience. Our professionals are trained in a variety of outdoor activities and can teach you all the tricks of the trade.  

The Climbing Consultant offers members an array of climbing activities. These range from ice single and multi pitch rock climbin to sea cliff climbing, guided summer mountains, and summer scrambling. No matter what the season is, we have opportunities year-round.  This is perfect for those looking to pursue something adventurous, those who like the outdoors, and those who are just looking to do something fun with friends.

As an adventure group, we believe it is important to abide by three main principles: Adventure, safety, and learning. It is important to have fun, but we must also be safe!
