Seaprobe Atlantis

Hordes of visitors travel to the Highlands every year, but most only see half the story.

Come for a tour with Seaprobe Atlantis, Scotland’s only semi-submersible glass bottom boat tour operator, and see the whole picture. We offer the chance to enjoy coastal views alongside underwater vistas and, on top of that, the wildlife that dwells in both environments.

You'll find us in Kyle of Lochalsh, where the straits that separate the majestic Isle of Skye from the rugged Scottish coast are at their narrowest. This waterway is blessed with wonders above and below the waves and our boat is the only way to explore it. Aside from the top deck, it has an underwater observation deck with rows of windows that reveal the secrets of the subaquatic world.

We run one and two-hour tours on Loch Alsh, visiting landmarks such as Seal Island and a shipwreck. We observe seals on every trip, relaxing on the rocks and swimming in underwater kelp forests. Sometimes we’re lucky enough to see otters and dolphins too, and there are always seabirds in the area. Our tours run from Easter to Halloween every year.

Other highlights include views of mountains on the mainland and the Isle of Skye, the modern bridge that connects Skye to Kyle of Lochalsh, and the other boats and vessels that travel through these waters.
