We offer tours on Scotland’s only semi-submersible glass-bottom boat, giving you the experience of stunning coastal scenery and the hidden secrets of Loch Alsh.

Loch Alsh separates the Isle of Skye from the mainland. There are beauty spots on both sides of the water, and seal, otter, dolphin and seabird populations which make their home here.

We sail from Kyle of Lochalsh from Easter to the end of October. In general, there are several trips a day, with exact timings depending on the tide. On a 1 hour tour, you’ll enjoy views of Skye and the mainland, visit Seal Island and a protected bird colony, pass under Skye Bridge and explore the kelp forests of the underwater world.

This price is for adults over 16, but we also have a price for children. The boat is suitable for wheelchair users if they are able to take a few steps from the pier to the deck. The bottom deck is reached by a few steps, separated by a landing, with a strong handrail for the full length.  Dogs are welcome on the open decks!

We have toilets and refreshments available aboard the ship for your comfort and convenience.

We operate the only semi-submersible glass-bottom tour boat in the country, offering visitors the unique opportunity to observe spectacular highlands, islands and the world beneath the waves. Our tours take place on Loch Alsh, an inlet of the sea lying between the mainland and the Isle of Skye. It’s beautiful however you look at it, but you get an all-encompassing view with us.

On a two-hour tour, we visit beauty spots on the mainland coast and the Isle of Skye including Skye Bridge, Seal Island, a protected bird colony, a working salmon farm and a World War II Shipwreck. Seals and seabirds are almost guaranteed sights, and there are healthy populations of otters and dolphins in the area too who sometimes grace us with their presence. You can observe them above the water or swimming in the kelp forests beneath the waves.

We run several tours daily depending on tides from April to October. This price is for adults over 16 but you can bring the children by booking our kids’ option.

The boat is accessible to wheelchair users if they can take a few steps from the pier to the top deck To access the bottom deck, it's necessary to descend two short flights of stairs with a landing in between, and a strong handrail all the way down. Dogs can come too, but they aren’t allowed below deck. The boat has toilets and there are refreshments available throughout the tour.
