Welcome to Floating on Air - Balloon Flights Over Yorkshire & Lincolnshire

We are the longest running balloon operator in York and have a well experienced and professional team. Our pilots have won many awards, including national, international and world ballooning awards, as well as having made many ´adventure´ crossings across the English Channel, the Irish Sea and the Alps, flying with television and film celebrities. We are passionate about ballooning and aim to give you a truly unforgettable experience.

Balloons are safe and comfortable to fly in, and all ages can do it! Our baskets are designed for ease and comfort, with step holes to climb in and out with, padded wicker compartments and high sides to offer protection when landing. If you don´t want to fly you can always watch friends and family and take photographs of and for them, as well as following them to the landed point to meet them.

Our balloons flights over Yorkshire give you some spectacular scenery, and views of the beautiful city of York.

We also provide rides over Lincolnshire, and sights to take in include Grimsthorpe Castle, Stoke Rochford Hall, Belton House and Belton Woods, and Rutland Water.
