Our friends at Puma Time have revealed a very appealing activity: surfing in your hotel pool.
Surfer friends planning a beach holiday who don't know where to go: we recommend setting your summer destination for Mallorca, where you can relax at an amazing hotel (Hotel Sol Wave House) and enjoy waves in their very own pool.
The perfect option if you can't live without catching some tubes, as the pool even has pro surfers who organise competitions and will help you refine your technique. All this comes with mixed beats from international DJs, parties on the hotel terrace, and sunsets by the Mediterranean shore.

How did the Wave House concept come about? Tom Lochtefeld, a professional surfer with extensive experience, decided to install this sports complex in Mallorca after experiencing similar setups on international beaches like Santiago de Chile, San Diego, and Singapore.
How does this "invention" work? They have 2 wave machines by Wave Loch: the FlowBarrel and the double FlowRider.
The FlowBarrel is the first machine of its kind in Europe, projecting water at 48 km/h onto a 3-metre curved wall to create the perfect wave formation. If you're new to surfing, don't worry - the double FlowRider is ideal for beginners, generating a non-breaking wave at 32 km/h.

Wave House Features
- You can book the activity with at least one hour's notice, either with an instructor or for private sessions
- Maximum capacity is 10 people per hour
- You must be over 107 cm tall to bodyboard on the Double FlowRider and at least 133 cm to surf on both waves.
