Scuola Ponte Tonale

The Scuola Ponte Tonale was founded in the 1960s by a close-knit group of teachers who allowed this structure to establish itself and become an important point of reference in the skiing and tourist environment of the Alta Camonica Valley.

The team currently consists of 60 highly qualified ski and snowboard instructors.

The individual and group courses begin in autumn on the Presena Glacier (the activity continues until May!) and are as follows:

• Kindergarten Course
• Alpine skiing courses - collective, individual and for school groups
• Ski courses for disabled people
• Telemark courses
• Competitive preparation and competition organization
• Junior Fun - pre-competitive level for children aged 6 to 16
• Snowboard courses at various levels

The School boasts among its staff the presence of national coaches who make their professionalism available to aspiring champions and instructors every year.

We also offer specific programs for nursery and primary schools and we have created a special area for children (the Fantaski) with games, slopes, paths and treadmills, where they can approach snow and sport in a safe and fun.

Those who do not have the necessary equipment can rent them in the well-equipped depot of the Ponte Tonale School.

The Ponte Tonale Ski School has been offering the inhabitants and visitors of the Alta Valle Camonica its great professionalism in teaching skiing at any level for many years.

Fantaski was created for children, a fenced area full of games, small slopes, paths and treadmills where they can play and take their first steps on skis in the company of specialized instructors.

The Alpine Skiing course program is structured as follows:

• Special white weeks - 6-day collective courses for groups
• Weekend special - group courses on Saturday and/or Sunday with 2 or 4 hour modules
• Individual lessons
• Lessons for disabled students
• Telemark lessons
• Group or individual lessons for aspiring ski instructors
• Group or individual lessons for expert athletes
• Junior Fun - pre-competitive ski course for children aged 6 to 16

At the end of the courses, fun competitions are organized with prizes and souvenir gifts for the participants.

The courses organized by the Ponte Tonale Snowboard School are aimed at beginners and experts who want to have fun with this magical sport in the snow parks and on the slopes of the Alta Valle Camonica.

Our instructors have excellent preparation in the practice and teaching of snowboarding to students of any age and our training offer includes:

• Individual lessons for all levels (from beginners to more experts)
• Basic freestyle lessons
• Freestyle lessons in the snowpark area (to create your own style!)
• Freeride lessons for "powder" lovers
• Hard-boots lessons with rigid equipment
• Group lessons (to experience snowboarding in company)

Those who do not have the necessary equipment can easily rent it at the School headquarters and enjoy their adventure on the snow in total safety.
