The Pirovano Ski School has been present a stone's throw from the Stelvio Pass for more than 50 years during which it has developed and expanded its skills , improving the offer and the services offered in the school by also founding in 1990 the section dedicated to the teaching of snowboarding.
The history of the Pirovano Ski School begins when a mountaineer from Bergamo , Giuseppe Pirovano, had the brilliant intuition of founding a ski school becoming one of the main references of the teaching at the highest levels , soon becoming known as the "University of skiing" thanks to the collaboration of some of the best teachers in circulation.
Currently the ski school only carries out its activities during the summer period , offering you the opportunity to practice a purely winter sport with obvious advantages such as greater dynamism, sensitivity and with opportunity to introduce yourself to the winter season perfectly in shape !
For those who want to spend a completely relaxed holiday, there will be the possibility of staying in the Pirovano hotel located a few meters away from the departure point of the cable cars.

Summary Skiing

The school carries out its activities along the slopes of the Stelvio pass, at 3000 meters above sea level ., Carrying out its activities during the summer period from May to November. For over fifty years the school has been present on the slopes of the Stelvio and, today as then, it is a reference point for summer skiing. In our area we give the possibility at all levels to improve their knowledge, giving lessons both to those who are at their first steps and to those who want to perfect its characteristics from a competitive point of view.
The lessons in the school are held by our teachers and take place in homogeneous classes with the same levels of preparation. For the little ones there will be the opportunity to take advantage of special ski courses from the age of five.

Summary Snowboarding
The Pirovano Ski School has been providing snowboarding lessons for about 15 years on the slopes of the Stelvio Pass. The peculiarity of this school is the possibility of practicing activities in the snow during the summer period as, being at a height of 3000 meters above sea level, it can take advantage of the presence of the snowy bottom between May and November.
Snowboarding has recently entered the educational programs of the Scuola di Sci Pirovano taking the name of "University of snowboard". On the slopes of the Stelvio you can slide on white expanses , tackle descents at full speed and have fun along a boarder cross .
For those who want to take part in snowboard courses, these will take place with lessons of about four hours a day in groups of maximum eight people, where our instructors will take you to discover the slopes of the Stelvio . The courses will be available for all levels of preparation as beginners and experts.
In no time you will learn the fundamental technique to use the board in the best way and, for those who want to outdo themselves, there will be the opportunity to have fun in the snowpark , an ideal area to improve ability in freestyle.
