Company Overview
At Explora Social Club we take care of making you an expert in the main snow sports from the facilities provided by the Sierra Nevada station. To do this we will start from the base, at your pace and according to your level because no one is born knowing nor are we in any hurry. Our instructors are prepared to accompany you on this path from your first steps on the frozen mantle.
Improve or start:
- Skiing: especially in freestyle skiing. When you are able to slide, brake and do the basic maneuvers, we can start trying different tricks with obstacles that will become part of your repertoire.
- Practice snowboarding: with your feet on the same board with certain similarities to those used for surfing during the summer. We can also opt for freestyle with this material.
We teach group or individual classes that you can hire for one or several hours. You can bring your equipment or ask our advice to rent it at the resort establishments. If you need a place to stay we can also provide you with information.
Summary Skiing
At Explora Social Club we have the best formula for you to learn freestyle skiing in the Sierra Nevada resort. We combine teaching on the slopes with training in our facilities at a technical level to help you create a good base from which to continue working.
Freestyle is a much more complete form of skiing that plays with the obstacles that nature offers us or with others that have been artificially placed to do this type of exercises. When you have advanced enough you can start practicing tricks such as complete 360 or even 540 degree turns. We show you how to execute them through:
- Private and group classes for students of all levels. You can book 60 minutes in which the instructor is solely dedicated to you or double the time for an intensive 2-hour lesson.
- Additional time for economical rates for each person: adding one more hour to your classes, or the time you need to take full control of this sport.
We also advise you on the material that best suits you if you are going to rent it and the most comfortable accommodation to spend a few days in Sierra Nevada.
Summary Snowboarding
Sowboarding is one of the ways we have the most fun during the winter season at Explora Social Club. If you do not consider yourself prepared enough to practice it on your own, we have a team of instructors who will help you both learn from scratch and improve the knowledge you already come with.
We have very precise training in the freestyle modality. According to this version of snowboarding, in addition to knowing how to slide down the slope, you will be able to interact with obstacles. There are artificial ones with areas prepared for it in the ski resorts themselves, and natural ones that allow us to play with the environment. Sign up for the option that suits you best:
- Group lessons: you will share class with others who are at a similar learning point to yours so that you can nourish each other by evolving from your own shortcomings. Even so, we always work with small groups seeking to maintain detailed attention to each participant.
- Private classes: these are for one person at a time. In this case, we offer you maximum flexibility since we adapt to you in terms of schedule and duration. The minimum time for each class is one hour but you can add time until you complete the course you are looking for.
