Wake Lac du Bourget: Come and discover the joys of water skiing, wakeboarding and wake surfing.
To practice the different practices of wake-boarding, wake-skating, wake-surfing, water bi-skiing and water monoskiing, you of course need a boat: a Tigé 22V limited with a 335 HP engine (V8 of 5.7l) placed at the rear.
Equipment:
-A flotation aid.
-A neoprene suit (depending on conditions). Lake Bourget is at 24/25 degrees throughout the summer.
-A rope with a spreader.
-A wake board or a skate board or a surfboard or a water ski or 2 water skis.
And of course a qualified pilot and/or instructor.

Summary Wakeboarding
Wake Lac Bourget Wakeboard: Wakeboarding is compared to snowboarding compared to alpine skiing.
It is therefore a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing techniques.
The 2 feet are inserted into shoes fixed on the board and the user is towed using a rope and a rudder fixed to the wake cage of the boat.
Wake-skating is a variation of wakeboarding.
The feet are free and just placed on the board covered with an anti-slip material.
The speed of the boat is between 20 and 32 km/h, depending on the age and weight of the person.

Summary Water Skiing
Wake Lac du Bourget Water Skiing: Water skiing is a water sport consisting of being towed by a boat. 2 different practices: Bi-skiing and mono-skiing
Bi-skiing:
This type of skiing is practiced with two independent skis, and is generally recommended for beginners for its ease. The larger surface area obtained with the 2 skis (compared to that of a monoski) provides the skier with more lift and allows them to exit the water more easily.
Monoskiing:
It is therefore practiced on a single ski with the 2 feet one behind the other
The speed of the boat is approximately 40 km/h depending on the age and weight of the person.
