At Tarifa Sports Center we have an ideal location near the island of Tarifa, where one of the best destinations in terms of wind and waves in all of Europe is concentrated. We are right in El Balneario where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. From our school you only have to walk 5 minutes to reach the old town.
From El Balneario we get spectacular views of Africa and, thanks to the surrounding conditions, both kitesurf lovers and surfers can enjoy the ocean.
Our audience is those who are looking for a water sport on the beach whatever their profile, serving families, children and individuals. We do not place restrictions regarding age nor do we ask that those who are going to trust our services have a previous level in any sport.
The school's instructors will teach you how to practice kitesurfing, ride the waves on a surfboard or take a paddle surf trip through classes, guided tours and equipment rental.
You can access completely private classes, semi-private classes sharing them with another person or exclusively for you so that you get all the teacher's attention.

With Tarifa Sports Center you can get closer to kitesurfing on the beaches near the El Balneario area where the wind and waves are perfect for practicing during most of the year.
The spot where we teach our students is right in front of the school facilities so it will be very convenient for you to join any of our courses. Our professionally qualified instructors work in a fully controlled environment in which to advance with the participant from any level.
In all programs, the kite is provided, with all the elements that make up the equipment, the wetsuit and insurance is included. The two options you have are:
- Course from the beach: it is done every day and its contents are aimed at those who start with an intermediate level. If you do it in a group it will be 3 hours with a maximum of 4 people. The semi-private lesson lasts the same time but is limited to two students and the private lesson lasts 120 minutes with a single student.
There is transportation between Los Lances and Tarifa.
- Teaching from a boat: if you prefer that your learning take place directly at sea, our boat will pick you up in front of the school for this. This course does not accept groups, it is offered only as private or semi-private training.
Summary Paddle Boarding
Learn the keys to paddle surfing with Tarifa Sports Center from Playa Chica or the El Balneario area. With an instructor, one of our wetsuits and the right insurance you will be ready to begin your learning in this sport based on a board and a paddle.
Our courses last one hour privately and 2 hours if you opt for it in a group or as a couple. In any case we add 1 extra hour of material rental so that you can freely practice what we have seen in class. We organize them like this:
- The first section of the lesson, between 15 and 30 minutes, will be dedicated to the position on the board on the beach. We will learn how it is designed and how to use it to stay safe in the ocean.
- The rest of the time you will spend in the water with the instructor who will help you find the ideal position on the board so that you maintain balance by concentrating on the position of your knees.
You don't need to bring anything because you have everything you need here, but you can use a towel, sunscreen and water to recover from the effort. Take advantage because this sport will benefit you in all aspects of your body and mind.
