At SurfCode we have set ourselves the goal that those who trust us to get into surfing take their initial steps following guidelines that allow them to be safe while still having fun during the training.

In our Castro Urdiales school you will learn with instructors equipped with patience and understanding of the needs of each person, who have fun with what they do, who know and love the sea above all and have the training to get it to the students. This professional team also has specialization by level and age that, together with the best material, is capable of satisfying novice and expert surfers.

There are three decades of surfing on the Cantabrian coast thanks to which we can now also offer you paddle surf, from beginner courses to complete trips or the rental of equipment for those who already have enough experience. You will find us for this purpose near Brazomar Beach where we will leave you, in addition to the board and paddle, a life jacket and you will be covered by our insurance.

At SurfCode we expand our specialization as instructors of the best surfing on the Cantabrian coast to the most recent stand up paddle as a way to expand the activities to which our students have access and to serve the followers of this new sport. .

Our paddle surf equipment is available near Brazomar beach. It is the point that we consider most suitable in the area for this discipline. You can access them in different ways:

- Renting it if you already have experience: aimed at those who do not require classes because they can handle themselves safely. You will take one of our boards to the water, with its adjustable paddle, and a life jacket.

- With introductory courses: as a way to get in touch if you have not had any before. You will start practicing it from the beginning of the class, you will know the characteristics of the material and how to use it at sea.

- With crossings: which we will do in different areas of Castro Urdiales so that you continue with the practice while your mind remains open to new landscapes with the beauty that characterizes the north of the peninsula.

Guillermo Laza Berastáin, known in the surfing world as Rocky, serves as inspiration for our school in Castro Urdiales. With the same vision of the sea as an opportunity to enjoy each of the moments we spend on the coast, we train those who come to this sport without knowledge or with a desire to know more.

We work under clear ideas that have become the key to our success, which is reflected in students who improve and have great moments in this part of the Cantabrian coast. They are:

- Find the ideal point between safety and fun: at sea we have to get serious but not for that reason leaving aside the fact that we are doing what we like most. That is why we look for the points with the best conditions by level and we teach the participants to analyze them for themselves among other basic concepts.

- Qualified teachers in charge of classes with theory and practice: each lesson consists of 120 minutes in which we know the medium, the materials, how we should warm up, the technical part of this sport and regarding our safety.

- We provide the material and insurance: each student, in an individual class or course, will have one of our boards and wetsuits. We take care of the transportation to the location of the activity.
